TASHTEGO FILMS was a New York-based film and television production company founded by Margaret Whitton, Steven Tabakin and Warren Spector.

CELEBRATING MARGARET WHITTON:

On December 4, 2016, TASHTEGO FILMS lost its founder, Margaret Whitton. On Valentine's Day 2017, a community of extraordinary friends and artsists gathered to celebrate her life and career at the NYU Skirball Center.



People who never met her will always know the artist. If you were fortunate enough to have the backstage pass, you know the ardent baseball fan; the voracious reader; the dog whisperer; the passionate fighter; and the astonishing horticulturist with an inexplicable eye for color and beauty.

Tashtego Films shut down in 2017.
